What a fun and good experience we had with Kinzy's birthday party this year. She was so thrilled with everything. I felt like it was a huge success. She never stopped smiling the whole day long. Kinzy woke up early with the anticipation of her big night. I surprised her with the help of my wonderful sister and brother inlaw. Kinzy told me she loved chocolate and didn't like cake at all so she wanted brownies for her party. Well I thought I'd do her one better and surprise her with a chocolate fountain with brownies, strawberries, bananas, and pretels to dip in it, all things that she loves. I got out our whimpy little fountain that we got at the local grocery store a few years ago and I couldn't get it to go. The light came on but the motor wouldn't pump the chocolate. I was crushed because I was so looking forward to this. Steve graciously tried to call a bunch of people he thought might have one to see if we could borrow one, but didn't have any luck. I am so grateful that Steve is always trying to help me. My sister and her husband magically fixed it and I was so happy, and so was Kinzy. I love how young children are so pleased with the simplest of things. I am the one who complicates things.
