The Big Ultrasound

Never was there such a well attended ultrasound. I think we may have overwhelmed the radiologist, but she was a good sport anyway. We are so grateful to have such support from both sides of our family. It just so happened that both Grandma's were in town and able to come, along with Papa Howie, and Aunt Cammie. This was pretty exciting for Aunt Cammie because this was her first ultrasound experience. We told Kinzy she could come but she was so cute and just said "No thanks Mom, just tell me if he's going to be ok". It is so fun to see the creation inside of me actually moving. We saw hands, and feet, and profile. He was pretty comfy and stubborn facing my back so it took some prodding to get some of the shots they needed. We will have to go back and get more since we didn't get a very good shot of the heart from the front. It was so comforting to see the heart actually beating.

Aren't ultrasounds the best part of being pregnant?!! I loved those! It's always fun to get a peek at what is making you so miserable and keeping you in the bathroom all of the time. I am sooo impressed that you ran the 1/2 marathon too! Way to go!

Hey Sharalee! I am so excited for you guys. Wow, I'm sure that was quite an exciting ultrasound! You have such a cute family, and so excited for the new addition. Again, I sure loved your marathon pics! Next year Shane really wants to do it with me, and I really can't wait. Can I say again you are so awesome for running while 4 months pregant?? Wow!
