Every summer I love to see my family and this summer since Steve's youngest sibling was getting married where my family lives we were able to spend time and visit both of our families. We loved every minute. Steve was only in Utah a few days but they were power packed with family activities and get togethers where ever we could fit them. We always have to make time for our favorite restaurants that we can't get here in Tennessee like Cafe Rio, Los Hermanos, Rumbi Grill and Tommy's Burger. Mostly we have to eat at Cafe Rio as much as we can.
I went out a week early and spent my birthday with my family and they spoiled me rotten. We ate at Cafe Rio of course and went swimming and everyone helped so much with my kids that it felt like a nice break, I didn't do much. Just when I thought it couldn't get any better my sister Cammie treated me to a pedicure while she got the first one she'd ever had in her life. The Nabrotzky's that were in Utah at the time surprised me and showed up for dinner at Cafe Rio. I was so touched that they all made time to come see swollen, testy, and pregnant ME!
I was fortunate enough to take some five generations pictures with my grandma's, mom and girls and the Target Studio. We had a wonderful time together. I am so blessed with such a great family. I even got to go back to my Alma Mater High school pool and watch my siblings rock at their swimming events. I was tickled to see my relay team still holds the school record, so that's my name as the lead off leg of the 200 free relay. Surprised you didn't see me in Beijing? I'm not.
My girls loved all the one on one attention they got from my family. The number of siblings I have still out numbers the amount of grandchildren there are so the grandkids get tons of attention. By the end of the summer there will be five grandchildren in my family, still not enough for everyone to get somebody to themselves but we are getting there.
