Steve has always wanted to see a production of Les Miserables. My first date I ever went on when I was 16 was Les Miserables. So it had been a while since I saw it. When we heard it was coming to Tennessee we couldn't contain ourselves, then we realized we'd have a one month old baby. Hmmm.. . .We decided to get tickets and hope for the best. Luckily it worked out. Two of the sweetest women on our ward watched our kids for us while we went. Our kids had the time of their lives while we got to have the time of ours. The music was amazing, Jean Valjean was my most favorite. There were a couple scenes they could have done without but overall all the new updates for the 25th anniversary were quite complimentary. I especially enjoyed Victor Hugo's art that was used as the background in a couple scenes.

The Date of a Lifetime!
Our Christmas present to Steve's parents was to come see it with us. We ate dinner at The Capitol Grille before and it was very nice. Way to go Steve, that was a fun date, I'm so glad you wanted to go just as badly as I did.
