Jimmer has arrived!

Our sweet little baby has arrived. We are so excited. The plan was to have the baby induced by Monday morning if he didn't come on his own. Sharalee was really hoping that he would arrive without having to be induced. Well literally 5 minutes before we were to get up to go to the hospital she woke me up to say that her water broke! Yikes we were not expecting that to happen.

We rushed to the hospital and quickly got checked in, then had to wait for a few hours until he finally arrived, safe and sound.

He weighed in at 8 pounds 7 oz and 21". His hair is much darker than Kyle's but lighter than Kinzy and Kaylie's at birth.

And his name is...Kamden JIMMER! Sharalee has said that we can call him either Kam, Kamden, or Jimmer. I guess the kids will really decide. Kinzy is dead set on having him go by his middle name and so is Kaylie. Ironically Kyle keeps calling him Kamden even though he loves Jimmer Fredette so much.

People think we are crazy to name our son after an athlete, but I don't really care what they think. Most people name their kids based on the way the name sounds, or the way the name reminds them of something. Sharalee was pregnant during Jimmer's entire senior year. We watched every single game together, traveled to watch BYU basketball, and it became a part of our lives and our memories while she was pregnant with Jimmer. On top of that it is a unique name and is different.

His name is Kamden because...we just like it. Sharalee's sister is Cammie and so the first part of his name is based on Cammie, as she is also a big part of our life right now. She is serving a mission in Croatia so we have had her on our mind so much, always saying extra thoughts and prayers in her behalf.
