Another Peek

Thanks to our little son's stubbornness we had to get another ultrasound so the doctor's could get a frontal view of his heart. He was in the middle of a nap and all curled up during our first ultrasound. The tech shook and poked and prodded my tummy to try and get him to turn around or move and he couldn't be bothered. So even though this was a month ago I really wanted to post these pictures because you can actually tell he is smiling in the first picture and in the second he already as big guns! Okay so I am already a very proud mother of a son, I can't help it. My girls didn't have muscles that defined on their arms he must be taking after his Dad, I asked if he was chubby already and if that helped the size and shape of his arms and the tech said he wouldn't start putting on the chub for another month. Needless to say my son is already impressing me. I know why his muscles are already so defined, he is constantly using them to let me know he is there and needs all the room I can spare him. I love how active he is because it reassures me that he is okay. I am so grateful that this all seems to be working out, I already love my son so much, like I never thought I could. He will make a very wonderful addition to our family.
